Gordon B. Hinckley

President Gordon B. Hinkley passed away yesterday. What a dear sweet man he was and how dearly we are going to miss him. But the thought that he is with his sweet wife again makes me smile. My testimony of the Savior has been strengthened and my desire to do better was been increased thanks to his wise counsel and the love I personally could feel coming from him.

Can you see the bump??

We were trying to hold off from telling some of the new news in our lives, but secrets don't get kept around here. At least not this type. We agreed (after months of "discussing.") to complete our family. I suprised Ryan with the good news on Christmas morning that his work here is done. I am pregnant again!!! I am about 8 wks along and due on August 25th. We were going to wait until I was further along to tell people but Ryan actually had to tell some of his collegues at work because I needed some meds. I have had the worst morning (actually lasts 24 hours) sickness with this pregnancy. I had some morning sickness with Ayden but not this bad. Ryan hopes that means it is a boy (which we were trying for) or he says I have twins!!!! We finally told the kids tonight and they all (Lauryn doesn't care) are loopy over the idea of having another baby. Ayden says he wants a brother to sleep in his room and we can call him Hector!! (He just had a new kid move into his class that came from Puerto Rico this last week named Hector!!) Hopefully I will start feeling better and we can convince Ayden to pick a different name!!!

Just some fun pics of Lauryn over the last few days. She is crazy and fun!!

Lauryn can always be found wearing someones shoes, rarely her own mind you. Meysa finally grew out of her old boots so Santa brought her a new pair. Naturally I thought Lauryn would want the other pair (brown) because she wouldn't have to fight Meysa for them anymore. Well I was wrong. She wants the pink ones and not the brown ones. We caught her one morning in nothing but a diaper walking around in the pink flashy boots. They are quite a bit too big and so she has to really work at getting her feet off the floor. Pretty fun to watch!!

Well we just changed to 1 o'clock church and anyone with kids knows that that isn't the most coveted time slot. Lauryn didn't get a nap yesterday and she and Meysa have found it fun to PLAY once they have been tucked neatly into bed. Seriously they were up til 9-9:30 pm laughing and giggling. But do you think they sleep in the next morning? Oh no, they are up with the sun and ready to hit the new day. Well at lunch today I think all the late hours and no nap finally caught up with Lauryn. She didn't even flinch when I scrapped the spaghetti off her face. She was a tired girl!!

I just wanted to post some of our family pictures!! They turned out like we wanted them to. It was tricky getting Lauryn to sit down, hence the stool but it turned out fine.
I hope everyone is having a very Happy New Year. Hard to believe that it is 2008 already!!
