The belly!!

Ok, so here it is in all it's glory. Ignore the look on my face, I have a headache for some reason. I must say with this pregnancy I have definately gotten more often the "boy, how much longer do you have?" and "wow you are getting out there already!" Do people realize that those comments are not to be said aloud to a pregnant woman? I don't care if you think them, but don't actually put them out there. I am feeling better, just can't bend over really anymore and I am starting to loose the view of my feet. I am able still able to do a lot, thankfully since we are in the process of moving. The little guy is moving alot and has already had a few good kicking fights with dear old dad. We still haven't come up with a name, so if any of you out there have a cool boys name that has or can have a "Y" put in it let me know. We need all the help we can get in that department.

Birthday Girl!!

We celebrated Lauryn's second birthday yesterday. It was kind of neat to share Mother's Day with her, seeing that was the day I became her mother. I am so grateful that Lauryn was sent to our family. She brings laughter and spunk, and just a sweet spirit with her. We started the day out with a good case of bed head. Boy that girl can get wild hair. I don't think she really got that it was her birthday, but was happy none the less.
This is right after she blew out her candle. She needed a little help but again this year she didn't care much for the cake. All she wanted was the ice cream. Funny kid!!
After cake and ice cream we had a punching party. The kids loved punching the balloons and being as loud as possible. What else do kids need really?!! She got a Dora chair, some new Dora pillows made by her grandma, some bubbles, money and a ball. The ball and bubbles were early casualties thanks to her older sibblings. Now Ayden and Meysa have to take money from their piggy banks to buy her a new ball and bubbles. All in all it was a good day.
On a side note, Ryan made me breakfast and I got some music to add to my ipod. Mother's day was wonderful, I got to celebrate the birth of one of my children. Nothing gets better than that!

Colors

Well the painting party is over! We finally got all the colors on the walls and were able to get our carpets cleaned. There is some touch up work still to be done, but I am not worrying about that until after we are moved in. I am pleased with how the colors turned out and it was really fun to do. I couldn't take pictures of our office because of the way the windows were but that room is a nice sage green and my little half bath is a dark brown/purple (a really cool but different color). So now on to cleaning dirty bathrooms and getting stuff moved from one house to the other. We only live about 2-3 blocks away so we are just hauling stuff over in my van, and then the Elders' Quorum is coming next weekend to move all the furniture. I can't wait until it is all done and we can finally say goodbye to the rental. Master Bedroom and bath(one wall each)

Underwoman to the rescue!!

Well this is our very own superhero, UNDERWOMAN!! Lauryn has been showing interest in the potty for the last month or so and so I bought some panties for her. With the help of Papa Chip one morning a couple of weeks ago she put them on. Yes she worn them around for the whole day and for most of the morning she had on her nightgown too (over the outfit in picture). She was quite the looker let me tell you. She wanted to wear the panties for a few days and then really didn't ask for them. Maybe it is everything I am trying to do lately, I really wasn't pushing too hard. Well this morning she suprised me. She told me she needed to go potty-#2- and then proceeded to do so, in the potty. I fully thought she would get on, sit for two seconds and then ask for TP, and then want off(her normal lately). No she sat there, did her thing and then asked for help!! Yeah for Lauryn and we even paged Daddy at work to let him know the good news. Lauryn's birthday is Sunday and so we might be on the path to being potty trained before baby brother shows up on the scene. That would be nice, only one in diapers!!
