Come and Join the Dance

Being a 2nd grader has it's advantages. For one... you are just one more rung up the academic ladder and two...you get to participate in the school play!! Ayden went to the school play last year (Jungle Book) and was so excited to be able to do it this year. I think he had a lot of fun. It was called "Come and Join the Dance." It was basically a variety show with fun songs and some poems and such. I wasn't allowed to take pictures during the actual play-some copyright thing so this all we got. We were lucky to have Nana and Papa come and watch Ayden. It really meant a lot to him and they enjoyed it too. Papa enjoyed it so much he took us out for ice cream afterwards!! Thanks Nana and Papa!! Sadly the lady who has directed the plays for the last 15 years is retiring so we shall see what happens next year. Ayden did really well, he wasn't shy and remembered all the word and moves. He was so fun to watch!!
