Wanted: Baby Wrangler

Our family must like things that come in FOURS. Since we were already in the photo mode with the older four kids we thought we might snap a few pictures of the newest four babies. This is the first time we have had them all together. These four babies aren't as close as the 8 year old group but still within five months of each other (July 30-Dec. 4). We had every intention of starting our picture endeavour at about 7:30-8:00 but it was drizzling rain so we had to wait for that to pass and by the time it was done the babies were all ready for a nap. So needless to say things didn't run as smoothly as we had hoped. Plus these kids wanted to MOVE. In different directions of course. It was crazy!! Even though we didn't really get a good group shot I think we did come out with some good individual ones or shots with just two of the kids.
Things were going downhill fast. All of them but Conner bailed seconds after this picture was snapped.
Wyatt had a thing for this trike, hence the fight that is ensuing with Teancum attempting to ride it.
Conner was so cute. He was happy the whole time and was the easiest of them all. He wanted a mid shoot snack though. Love that little tongue.

Success!! They are all looking at the camera at the same time. If we had thought about it we would have had the boys with the trike in the middle, flanked by the chairs but we will take what we can get!! Before you know it these FOUR will be getting baptized too. Time really needs to take a chill pill and SLOW down!!!

Baptism x 4

We call these kids the 4 Musketeers or June babies. In 2001 I was pregnant along with my two sister in laws and we were all due in June, actually within a few days of each other. Ayden, Jaci, and Preston have celebrated many a birthday with each other and then my sister Amber adopts Andrew and he happens to fit in perfectly with the other kids. We waited a few months for Ayden to be baptized because we thought it would be special if all four of these youngsters got baptized together. We are so glad we waited. It was so special to have them all together for this important night. Since our family will probably never have four kids again getting baptized together we wanted to really document the fact. So we went out behind my parents place and took some fun picutres in the wheat field. I can't believe how much they have grown and changed. Can I really have an 8 year old?!!

{Help}

Help....
Me....
I'm STUCK!!

Wyatt loves to play in my cupboards and take out everything I have in them. Well after he emptied my pots and pans cupboard he thought it would be fun to see how he fit in it. As you can see, not too well. I of course had to get a picture all while he was fussing for some help!! You can tell by the look on his face he is saying "dadgumit woman put down that camera and help me would ya!!" This kid is a funny one I tell ya!!

ONE

Our little Wyatt turned the big ONE on Saturday. We had a small party for him with Ryan's Mom and our neighbors the Millers. It was fun to celebrate this little guy. We are so glad he came to our family. He cracks us up all the time and is so much fun!!
I decided to make him a giant cupcake that he could destroy if he chose!!
Little cherub. I don't think that face could be any cuter or sweeter for that matter.
He looks pretty excited about his birthday, even though he didn't know what day it actually was!!
He is starting to sing when he hears music. When we started to sing to him he started right in with us!! He wanted to touch the flame of the candle really bad.
Not sure what to think of the blue stuff. He really didn't eat any of it, he just picked at it and smeared it. Which is why we put a disposable table cloth on the table and then set him and the cake on it.

He had to get hosed off before he could start opening up his presents. He loves the bath and he fought getting out.
He was actually really good at opening the presents all by himself. We sent the bigger kids out to eat Orange cream bars. That is why we could get a clear shot of him with no big kid trying to "help" him.

He got a few Tonka cars and a Little People airport. The older kids have been having a blast with his toys, he has enjoyed them when he gets a chance to play with them. It was a fun evening and we are so glad we got to celebrate Wyatt's first birthday. Time has gone by too fast, dang it!!
THE END!!
