Update to previous post!!

Just thought we would let you know where we found Lauryn asleep last night. I went in to check on the girls like normal and Lauryn was of course not in her bed. She wasn't under her bed either. She wasn't in bed with Meysa and she wasn't asleep in the closet. So where could she be? She was under Meysa's bed, with her blanket and baby. With a bed skirt on the bed , it took me a minute to find her this time. Stay tuned for where we will find Lauryn next time!!

Where's Lauryn????

Normally I go check on the kids before I go to bed. The other night when I went in this is what I found...

Were was Luaryn at 10 PM? I could hear a deep breathing, nasal congested child (picture Darth Vader). I looked in Meysa's bed to see if she had "buddied" up with her favorite older sister!!! Not there. Ah ha, there she is...

How the tiny cramped area 1) under her bed and 2) on the floor seemed like a good deal is beyond us. She apparently put some thought into this though because her pillow and ever-so-precious baby were all neatly set up by her. She never ceases to continually make us laugh and scratch our heads. Silly girl!!!

My Valentine

Well I have had the same Valentine for the last 11 years. Wow that is a long time. It started in High School(ahhhh)and hasn't stopped. Ryan mustered up the courage to ask me to Winter Ball and pretty much the rest is history!! I could take a lot of time and tell you all the oooey, gooey details but I'll skip to the highlights.

Boy do we look young or what!! It seems like an eternity ago that I was 18 and finally out of High School. Next up, college for both of us but in different states for two years. A lot of phone calls and lots of letters. Throw in a baptism and a proposal and that brings you to the next highlight....

Our wedding Day!! It was wonderful to be sealed to my sweetheart for all eternity. We then went on a really cool honeymoon. Kalamth Falls, OR. Ryan got strep throat, it rained and we came home a day early. Lots of fun!! Maybe for our 10 year anniversary we can go on a makeup honeymoon. After the honeymoon was over Ryan spent a lot of time at the baseball field playing, he says he was trying to get through school, but I don't know!! I spent my days sucking slobber at the Dentist office so we could have money to pay rent and eat!! The good ole' days when we really didn't have two pennies to rub together.

Fast Forward about 6 years. We have two kids, a minivan and a hermit crab!! Ryan is in medical school, we are still poor but we are loving life. We couldn't really ask for anything more. Ok, yes we could, a paycheck and our student loans wiped away!! But we are happy and healthy and Ryan is halfway done with torture, I mean school!!

...Now onto today!! We have been married 8 1/2 years, we have three kids, and another one on the way. Ryan is in residency and gone a lot but we still get to see him!! I really couldn't have asked for a better man to walk along with me the last 11 years. We are best friends and sweethearts. He is the father of my children and my one and only. He brings home the bacon so I can stay home and be the Mom and he is our super hero. I probably don't say it often enough, but I love my Valentine more today than I did way back when!!

Calling all Candle lovers!!

My sister in law is a consultant for a company called Scentsy candles. They are leadless, wickless, flameless and smokeless. You use a warmer and melt the candle down to get your yummy scent going throughout your house. Anyways if you are interested check out her site at www.scentsy.com/sariah to find out more. It is a new company and so if you would like to get on board and become a consultant yourslef there is information on her website about that too. There are a ton of scents and lots of really cute warmers that would match any decor!!

Is there a doctor in the house?!

So yesterday Ryan got a package in the mail that he has been waiting anxiously for. It was these REALLY(emphasis added)cool biking glasses that he will use for none other than, yup you guessed it, delivering babies and surgeries!! Who knew they were so multi-functional. He even has lenses that are orange that can be interchanged. I told him to leave those ones at home, might scare not only the patients but you don't want that to be the first thing the babies see when they come out. I guess they are more comfortable than the regular glasses and they look better too. The kids thought they were really cool too so they wanted to try them on, along with the scrub caps I made Ryan for Christmas. Lauryn was the only one that just couldn't sit and get her picture taken. And no she isn't picking her nose in that first picture she is just checking to make sure the boogers are still there for later!!
